Unai Rioja

Researcher at Ikerlan Technological Research Center

I am a researcher at IKERLAN, a Technological Research Center located in the Basque Country (Spain), where I reside. I obtained a Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering in 2017, and a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering in 2019, both from the University of La Rioja. In July 2018, I started working in the industrial cybersecurity specialisation team at IKERLAN, in the area of reliable embedded systems. In parallel, in 2019, I became a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Lejla Batina in the Digital Security group of Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands. In November 2022, I obtained the degree of doctor working on Side-channel analysis attacks. I am currently working in the IKERLAN Embedded Cybersecurity specialisation group, performing cybersecure product design and evaluation tasks.
